Violin Duo Theme Collection VOL. 1: EXCERPT ARRANGEMENTS - ARRANGED FOR TWO VIOLINS

About This Sheet Music

SHIVA Violin Duo Theme Collection – Vol. 1 was created especially for beginners and students who want to discover famous classical music in a simple, practical and enjoyable way. Rather than presenting complete versions of the original works, this collection introduces short excerpts from well-known classical masterpieces, carefully arranged for two violins. The shorter format makes each piece approachable and practical for lessons. You can read the music together with your teacher, practice small sections, develop your sight-reading skills and gradually become familiar with great classical music. Playing with another violinist is also a wonderful introduction to ensemble playing. You begin to learn how to listen, keep a steady pulse, follow another player, balance the two parts and make music together. The collection features themes by composers including Vivaldi, Mozart, Beethoven, Dvořák, Mendelssohn and Bizet, offering an enjoyable introduction to different composers and musical styles. It is particularly suitable for beginners and early-intermediate violinists, teachers and students, sight-reading practice, first duet experiences, lessons and classroom concerts. Included in This Course - Short excerpt arrangements from famous classical works - Full score with both violin parts together - Clear bowings and articulations - PDF sheet music And this is only the beginning. As part of the SHIVA Sheet Music Academy, this course can continue to grow with practice ideas, musical guidance, videos and other learning resources to help you explore the music step by step. Our goal is not simply to give you notes to play. We want to help you discover great classical music in an approachable way while developing the confidence and listening skills that come from making music with another violinist.
