About the course
This SHIVA arrangement brings the elegance, energy and joyful character of Mozart’s Divertimento in D Major, K. 136 to two violins. Mozart’s clear musical lines and lively interplay make this music especially rewarding to explore as a duo. Play it with your teacher, your student, or a friend and discover how the two violin parts interact through melody, harmony, articulation and phrasing. Playing together also develops important musical skills such as listening, ensemble balance, rhythmic precision, articulation, phrasing and musical communication. Rather than simply concentrating on your own part, you learn to respond to another player and shape Mozart’s music together. This arrangement is suitable for intermediate to advanced violinists and works beautifully for private or group lessons, chamber music sessions, recitals, class concerts and other musical events. Sheet Music Included Full score for Violin 1 & Violin 2 Separate Violin 1 part Separate Violin 2 part Clear, professionally engraved notation PDF format And this is only the beginning. The course begins with the 1st Movement – Allegro, and as part of the SHIVA Sheet Music Academy, it can continue to grow with additional music, practice ideas, technical tips, musical guidance, videos and other learning resources. Our goal is not simply to give you sheet music and leave you to practice alone. We want to explore Mozart’s music together with you, helping you understand its character, practice with greater awareness, listen more deeply and enjoy making music with others.
